Call Center Representative

Location:

Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Schedule:

Rotating 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of recent experience in healthcare customer service, health insurance, managed care, or a healthcare call center environment

+ Experience handling high-volume inbound calls

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Reliable high-speed internet for remote work

+ Strong communication and customer service skills

+ Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are highly preferred

Responsibilities

+ Answer inbound calls and assist members with health insurance-related inquiries

+ Support customers through the enrollment process

+ Process requests such as  replacements, provider changes, and demographic updates

+ Research and resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner

+ Accurately document customer interactions

+ Meet quality, productivity, and customer service goals

+ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information

Work Environment

+ Hybrid schedule with only 2 in-office days per month after training

+ Initial training conducted onsite

+ Must be local to the Austin area

+ Occasional rotating weekend coverage

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
