Customer Service Support Advisor - 1 day office (Must be based in Kent)

Location:

Chatham, Kent (1 day per week in the office, home working the rest of the week)

We're looking for a Customer Service & Technical Support Advisor to join a friendly team, providing support to customers who need help with technical queries. Think of the kind of support you receive from Apple, where excellent customer service and making technology easy to understand are at the heart of everything.

The Role

You'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them resolve technical issues, answering questions and ensuring they receive a great customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling customer enquiries by phone, email or online chat.
Talking customers through technical issues and helping them find solutions.
Troubleshooting problems and explaining solutions in a clear, straightforward way.
Providing guidance on products, services and technical features.
Logging customer interactions and updating internal systems.
Escalating more complex issues when necessary.
Delivering friendly, patient and professional customer service at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience in customer service, technical support or a similar customer-facing role.
Is confident using computers, systems and technology.
Enjoys problem-solving and finding solutions.
Can explain technical information in simple terms.
Has excellent communication skills and a patient, helpful approach.
Is comfortable learning new systems and working as part of a team.

You don't necessarily need a formal IT qualification. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in helping people are just as important.
