Medical Billing Customer Service Representative

This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of
:
Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.

• 1 year of call center or customer service/office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and process information efficiently.
• A calm, professional approach when handling challenging calls.
• A patient-focused attitude and a commitment to quality customer service.

$14 - $14 an hour

Shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

Work hours - 9:00am-6:00pm (EST) ;
Work Days
- Mon-Fri

Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)

Status
