Customer Service Representative

You will play a key role in supporting customers with their home insurance claims. You’ll speak directly with customers to fully understand each situation, carefully capture the details on the systems, and then determine next steps for the claim with the appropriate follow up activity.

• Managing inbound and outbound call activity with insurance customers.
• Managing and reviewing online claims and progressing them with fair judgement and good decision-making skills.
• Providing clear and informative responses to customers.
• Maintaining high customer experience standards with empathy.
• Creating clear and concise call notes ensuring all details are captured.
• Escalating customer queries where appropriate.
• Seeing all customer interactions through to resolution and completing associated administrative tasks.
• Take responsibility for queries/issues through to resolution.
• Manage expectations of all internal and external customers.

• At least 1 - 3 years' of telephone customer service experience.
• Financial services / insurance experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Remote working within the UK.

£136.20 per day gross via umbrella.

35hrs per week. On rotational shift across the operational hours (8am – 6pm Monday – Friday and 9am – 1pm on Saturdays)

Initially 3 months, with opportunity to extend.
