Summary:

This role helps new clients complete service setup, understand next steps, and get answers to routine onboarding questions. It sits within the client support team, works under a customer service team lead, and helps prevent delays during the start of service. The associate works with clients, account contacts, and the support team to keep onboarding tasks clear and moving toward completion.

This is a fully remote, work from home position based in Indiana, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review new client requests arriving through the onboarding queue and email, identify the requested service, and check which setup steps remain open.
  • Confirm business contact details, service selections, and preferred contact methods with clients before updating their profiles in a CRM such as Hub Spot.
  • Send clear welcome messages that explain the onboarding sequence, client responsibilities, available service resources, and the next expected contact from the team.
  • Guide clients through standard account activation and service access steps using approved instructions, without making changes outside the associate's assigned access.
  • Record questions, completed actions, outstanding tasks, and next steps in a support platform such as Salesforce Service Cloud so teammates can continue the conversation.
  • Coordinate open setup tasks with account contacts and the support team, checking that each task has an owner and an understood next action.
  • Follow up when clients have not supplied routine setup information or completed a required step, and explain what is needed to move forward.
  • Escalate access problems, unclear service requests, and repeated delays to the customer service team lead, including relevant context and actions already attempted.
  • Confirm that standard onboarding steps are complete, explain ongoing support channels, and provide a clear handoff to the team handling routine client questions.
  • Meet quality expectations for accurate updates, timely turnaround, complete notes, and reliable follow-up; help map onboarding steps and suggest process improvements based on recurring questions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required; related experience in client onboarding, customer support, or administrative support is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the basic steps of welcoming clients, checking setup information, tracking progress, and handing off completed work.
  • Ability to learn a CRM such as Hub Spot and a support platform such as Salesforce Service Cloud through structured training and practice.
  • Clear written and spoken communication for explaining service steps, asking focused questions, and confirming a client's understanding.
  • Ability to prioritize open tasks, compare information for accuracy, and maintain useful notes without skipping follow-up commitments.
  • Willingness to follow established instructions, ask for help when a request falls outside standard steps, and use feedback to improve.
  • Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace; availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Fully remote work from home in Indiana, with desk-based responsibilities throughout the client onboarding process.
  • Structured onboarding and training on a CRM such as Hub Spot and a support platform such as Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Regular check-ins with the customer service team lead to review questions, priorities, and progress.
  • Build practical skills in client onboarding, workflow tracking, customer training, and clear service handoffs.
  • Health coverage, paid leave, maternity leave, bonus opportunities, and stipends.
