Manage specialized customer orders remotely for Millipore Sigma, combining accurate order entry with proactive communication and detailed specification review. Support reliable shipment planning.
This Specialist, Special Business Support position serves as the primary contact for customized orders across Life Science businesses. You will process Serum, Bulk, Custom materials, Batch Reservations, and other unique requirements. The work connects customer needs with Order Management and Planning while supporting delivery and strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate requirements through accurate order entry
- Review specifications and manage customer-requested dates
- Provide proactive order status communication
- Reduce complaints through preventative actions
- Develop solutions for customer inquiries
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two or more years of customer service experience
- One or more years of SAP and Salesforce experience
- Ability to interpret requirements across diverse work groups
- Professional communication and prioritization skills
