• Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and social media platforms in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and promotions.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively, escalating complex cases to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Document all customer interactions and feedback in the CRM system.
• Identify trends in customer inquiries and feedback to suggest improvements in products or services.
• Assist customers with order tracking, returns, exchanges, and other post-purchase support needs.
• Contribute to the development of customer service FAQs and knowledge base articles.
• Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for enhancing their experience.
• Uphold brand standards and values in all customer communications, ensuring a consistent and positive brand image.

• Proven experience in a customer service, customer support, or similar role, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using customer service software (CRM, helpdesk platforms, live chat).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
• Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers and de-escalate challenging situations.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for customer service is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of the Eastern Cape retail market is beneficial but not essential.
