Senior Residential CAD Technician (LEVEL
5) Fulltime – Hybrid (T-W-TH in office) Pay Rate: $30/hr - $35/hr + Generous Bonus Structure and Unmatched Company Culture. of Position
In this role, you’ll support the production of high-quality construction documents and design development for custom residential homes. You’ll thrive if you have a passion for residential architecture, are fluent in AutoCAD and Revit, and enjoy a high-accountability, process-driven culture that values craftsmanship and teamwork. Our clients build multiple homes per year, primarily in Florida. If you have experience or desire to work with this type of client, this role will be a great fit.

Job Responsibilities / Expectations- Project due diligence.
- Create design development and construction documents for luxury homes with a high level of detail and minimal supervision.
- Produce construction details.
- Provide expert residential building and FEMA code support.
- Review shop drawings, including trusses, doors, windows, cabinets, specialty products.
- Coordinate with engineers (structural, civil, MEP) as necessary.
- Create site and grading plans.
- Communicate with team and clients for project plans and timelines.
- Assist with creating project schedules.
- Assist with final review of project phases.
- 7 years of experience in the residential/custom industry, minimum last 5 years in Florida.
- Knowledge of flood zone construction requirements, FEMA regulations, and coastal building standards.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce complete construction documents and high-level architectural details with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to transform schematic designs into fully detailed construction documents with limited direction.
- Understanding of the construction process and anticipating issues in the field.
- Knowledge of everything necessary to build a home.
- Skilled in developing high-level architectural details independently.
