** Your Role
** As a Gensler Project Manager, you will leverage your attention to detail and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional projects on time and on budget. Grow your project management experience while working on trendsetting projects across industries. A focus for the role will be building client relationships and driving business opportunities.
** What You Will Do
*** Lead project teams for multiple core & shell projects
* Manage all phases, including project set-up, programming, design, and construction administration
* Establish and maintain productive client relationships
* Engage directly with clients in coordination with all stakeholders to assure approvals
* Manage project scheduling, staffing/productivity, budgets, project set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants
* Track and manage the financial performance of projects
* Prepare project proposal, negotiate fees and contracts
* Coordinate bidding process
* Ensure projects conform to contract
* Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and requirements
* Actively support firmwide sustainability and resilience goals, guiding clients and project teams toward multi-benefit sustainable and resilient design solutions
* Actively mentor the next generation of leadership by inspiring, empowering and leading by example
* Advance an integrated design culture on your projects, including mentoring, providing resources, facilitating discourse, spearheading initiatives + recruitment and onboarding of new team members
** Your Qualifications
*** 10-15 years of experience in the commercial Architecture & Design industry, inclusive of experience as a Project Manager
* Experience delivering architecture and master planning projects for Government and Higher Education clients (including State construction agencies)
* Experience leading projects of a variety of scales
* Strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal management skills
* Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituents.
* Commitment to a collaborative design process
* Experience negotiating project scope and fees
* Knowledge of local building codes and standards
* A commitment to the principles of , and experience integrating them on specific projects
* Professional degree (Master or Bachelor) in Architecture from an accredited program
* Licensed / Registered Architect and LEED accreditation are a plus
* Proven experience mentoring and coaching teammates
