Archival Digitization Specialist – Denver, CO
Full-time, contract‑based position in Denver, CO. Compensation: $22 per hr. Project duration: 2.5 to 3 years, starting early February 2026. Report to Domestic Remote Senior Imaging Manager. Not a work‑from‑home position. No benefits.
Job SummaryProject‑based temporary specialist to digitize archival documents. Responsible for capturing images, performing quality audits, entering data, maintaining equipment, and coordinating delivery of images to the corporate office.
Responsibilities- Capture digital images of documents as specified by the company.
- Perform quality audits on each roll that have been scanned before transmission.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets with progress, audit notes, and other relevant data.
- Initiate and manage the delivery or transmission of images to the corporate office.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and coordinate third‑party hardware service providers.
- Perform basic image enhancement and file organization tasks.
- Maintain professional relationships with partners that support the image quality and mission of
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as related to the project, as they arise.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and determine urgency in a practical way.
- Experience anticipating problems and finding creative solutions.
- Experience with scanning and editing equipment, procedures, and materials.
- Background in photography, library and archives, or history.
Location:
Denver, CO. This is not a work‑from‑home position.
