We’re looking for a land planner or architect with hands‑on experience in parametric design for U.S. residential developments and/or urban planning contexts.
This is a project‑based consulting role
, not a full‑time position. The ideal candidate understands how to design at the site planning/community layout level or at the urban planning level. This role does not involve building architecture — only site planning.
This consulting engagement focuses on how parametric workflows improve real‑world residential site planning.
We want to learn:
- How land planners set up rules, constraints, and optimization parameters.
- How Grasshopper scripts integrate with typical planning tasks.
- Where parametric design saves time or improves design outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Grasshopper (required) and parametric workflows for land planning.
- Practical understanding of U.S. site planning norms, constraints, and design standards.
- Previous work on SFH or townhouse subdivisions, or urban layouts.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate how parametric tools were used in real‑world projects.
- Fully remote.
- Location flexible — any U.S. state.
- Engagement will be structured as project‑based consulting
.
