West Workshop is a small architecture and design studio specializing in the hospitality, custom residential, and adaptive reuse sectors with offices in Washington, DC, Raleigh, and Ft. Wayne, IN. This position is for a local or remote employee, ideally based in NC.

• Collaborate directly with the firm’s owner and with clients on a variety of project types.
• Work independently on multiple projects, from concept through completion.
• Produce and maintain construction documents in Revit.
• Visit job sites during construction, respond to RFIs, and manage project progress.
• Research materials, products, and building systems throughout design and construction phases.
• Coordinate with collaborators, clients, building officials, and consultants on a weekly basis.
• Prioritize and manage tasks independently.

• 5-7 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Proven experience in Commercial Construction;
  Residential experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or higher; working toward licensure.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience producing construction documents in Revit from concept to completion.
• Basic construction knowledge; will receive additional training.
• Working knowledge of Sketch Up and/or Rhino.
• Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and open to expanding skillset.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
• Flexibility to maintain a flexible work schedule and work-from-home opportunities.
