Senior Product Designer - AI Tools

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our AI-powered development tools. You'll be responsible for creating intuitive, delightful interfaces that make complex AI capabilities accessible to developers of all skill levels.

This role requires a unique blend of UX design expertise and technical understanding. You'll work closely with AI engineers to design interactions that feel natural and powerful, while collaborating with our user research team to validate design decisions through testing and feedback.

As a senior member of our design team, you'll help establish design systems, mentor other designers, and drive design strategy across our product suite. You'll have significant impact on how developers worldwide interact with AI tools.

• Proficiency in Figma, design systems
• Understanding of AI/ML workflows
• Experience with user research and testing
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
• Experience with design system creation and maintenance
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Create intuitive workflows for AI-assisted coding
• Conduct user research with developers
• Collaborate with engineers on implementation
• Lead design reviews and critique sessions
• Mentor junior designers and contractors
• Establish design standards and best practices
• Work with product managers on feature strategy
• Advocate for user needs in product decisions
