Logo Design for Exterior Contractor Business (Firm Foundation Exteriors)

We need a logo designed for a new exterior construction company based in Wisconsin/Minnesota.

We specialize primarily in roofing and siding. The business name is Firm Foundation Exteriors.

A portion of our profits from every project is donated to Christian-based charities, so incorporating a subtle sense of integrity and purpose is appreciated, but not in an overly religious way.

For colors, I am leaning toward light blue with an orange accent, but I’m open to other options (please avoid green). I would also be interested in an additional, secondary character-style illustration—a small cartoon worker that could be used in alternate logo variations.

Overall, the final design should convey trustworthiness, honesty, and professionalism.

I want to clarify the direction I’m looking for. I did not connect with the more detailed house illustrations. I’m looking for a subtle, abstract roof element that clearly suggests roofing and exterior work without being a literal or detailed house graphic. My goal is a strong logo, not a house illustration with text added underneath.

I was especially interested in the concept from M Art & Design that used subtle mountains that also functioned as a roofline. I found it very intriguing. The main issue there was the spacing and readability of the company name, which looked like one continuous word.

The design from Majesty Design is also close to the direction I want, but it still isn’t quite there yet. ni9’s concepts are also along the correct path stylistically.

In terms of color, I was initially leaning toward a blue and orange combination (similar to Florida Gators colors), but I am not locked into that and am open to other color schemes. I also like black and gold and am open to additional professional, strong color palettes.

Overall, I’m looking for something that feels:

• Clean
• Trustworthy
• Professional
• Strong and established
• Timeless rather than trendy
