Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $ USD Annually

Client is hiring an experienced Architectural Project Manager with a strong background in restaurant and retail architecture. This role focuses on producing and managing construction documents, not concept design. You will lead small teams, work directly with clients, and coordinate with consultants to turn design ideas into buildable drawings. This position supports high‑profile retail and restaurant clients, including flagship stores in NYC.

• Manage multiple retail and restaurant projects from start to finish
• Lead and review work completed by drafters, Job Captains, or Assistant Project Managers
• Develop and review construction documents based on design drawings
• Create architectural details from schematic designs (not just copy prototypes)
• Perform AutoCAD drafting (heavy at first; ~10–20% ongoing)
• Coordinate with MEP, structural consultants, landlords, and vendors
• Communicate directly with clients, building officials, and contractors
• Review drawings for state and local code compliance
• Conduct site surveys and attend client / consultant meetings when needed
• Maintain organized project files and meet tight deadlines

• 10–12+ years of experience in architecture
• 5+ years working with retail or restaurant projects (preferred)
• Experience managing a team of 2+ staff members
• Strong AutoCAD skills (Revit not required)
• Proven experience producing construction/buildable drawings
• Solid technical skills in architectural detailing
• Experience coordinating with consultants (MEP & structural)
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• NYC project experience (strong plus, not mandatory)
• Background close to a Registered Architect level
• Retail flagships, commercial interiors, or mixed‑use experience
• Willingness to travel once per month

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field

• Portfolio or work samples are required – must show construction document and AutoCAD work.

• Fully Remote (Eastern or Central time zone preferred)
• Occasional in‑person meetings may be required
• Standard business hours, Monday–Friday
• Flexibility required based on project needs

• Occasional travel (estimated once per month for specific projects)
