Collaborate with architects and designers to develop detailed and precise drafting solutions for commercial interior projects.
Produce accurate floor plans, elevation drawings, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
Ensure designs align with project specifications, building codes, zoning ordinances, and industry regulations.
Conduct research on municipal codes and development regulations relevant to project requirements.
Assist in space programming, schematic design, and preliminary design approval processes.
Prepare presentation materials and project documentation following company standards.
Communicate regularly with the design team, responding efficiently to feedback and project adjustments.
Translate sketches, notes, and conceptual ideas into comprehensive working drawings.
Organize data tables with square footage, acreage, and parking counts.
Utilize remote collaboration tools for efficient project execution and team coordination.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in architectural drafting or interior design.
- Associate degree or certificate in drafting, architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with fast‑paced project turnarounds and remote collaboration tools (Teams, screen sharing, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with building codes, industry standards, and construction documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in commercial interior projects; medical project drafting experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently on design tasks with moderate supervision.
- Detail‑oriented and precise in project execution.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a logical and methodical approach to design challenges.
- Adaptable and able to maintain focus on both repetitive and varied tasks.
- Open to innovative ideas while ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
This is a full-time, 100% remote position.
