Senior Designer

Position: Senior Designer (Permanent)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to my clients design team. This is a full-time, hybrid role based, offering flexibility between office and home working.

The Senior Designer will take full ownership of architectural metal and glass design packages, producing highly detailed, accurate technical drawings while ensuring design intent is maintained from concept through to manufacture and site installation.

You will play a key role in collaborating with clients and internal teams, identifying and managing design risks, and delivering practical, compliant, and innovative solutions across a wide range of projects.

Experience:

* Proven experience as a Senior Designer within architectural metalwork, glass, or façade-related design

* Proficient in 2D & 3D design software

* Strong understanding of safety standards, compliance, and fire remediation practices

* Demonstrable knowledge of:

* Balustrades, balconies, staircases, and external flooring systems

* Installation processes, sequencing, and tolerances

* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders

* Ability to manage complex design challenges and deliver practical, compliant, and creative solutions

* Experience maintaining design integrity across all project phases

* Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or a related field preferred
