Location: South East, with site visits in London and Kent
Working Type: Mainly remote

About the StudioOur client is a small, ambitious architectural studio with a strong and growing pipeline of residential work. They offer a consistent flow of well‑considered projects, a sensible approach to remote working, and a culture that values quality over noise. This is a practice where technical expertise is genuinely valued, and where the right person will have real ownership and responsibility.
About the RoleThis is a role for someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture, takes pride in getting things built properly, and values clarity, coordination, and detail. You'll take ownership of projects through the later RIBA stages, supporting delivery from design development through to site.
You'll be trusted to manage your workload independently, while remaining closely connected to a collaborative and supportive team. The position is mainly remote, with site visits and occasional in‑person meetings around London and the South East. It suits someone based locally who enjoys flexibility, autonomy, and being relied upon.
This is a role with genuine responsibility and trust, not just drawing production. You'll have ownership of your projects, flexibility in how you work, and the chance to be a key technical figure within a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical delivery of residential projects across RIBA Stages 3 to 5
- Produce and coordinate detailed Revit drawing packages, primarily for Stages 4 and 5
- Manage technical coordination with consultants, contractors, and Building Control
- Support projects from developed design through to construction and completion on site
- Review and respond to technical queries, RFIs, and site issues as they arise
- Attend site visits and coordinate closely with contractors to ensure design intent is delivered
- Contribute to a close‑knit team culture, offering reliability, clarity, and technical expertise
You’ll need proven experience as an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist, with strong technical knowledge and a clear focus on RIBA Stages 3 to 5.
Essential skills and experience:
- Confident, day‑to‑day use of Revit, with AutoCAD experience also beneficial
- Solid experience working on residential projects, ideally including multi‑unit housing
- Confidence liaising with Building Control and supporting projects on site
- Based in the South East, within reach of London or Kent for site and team visits
- Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
If you’re technically strong, delivery‑focused, and enjoy seeing projects through properly, this is well worth a conversation.
