THE GOAL
Kelly Deli are looking for a freelancer to join us on a Ad Hoc Maternity Cover. The aim is to develop both front-end and back-end elements of Kelly Deli’s web infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain Kelly Deli’s customer-facing web-based platforms in conjunction with the Marketing Team.

WHAT THEY DOMain Responsibilities -
The aim of the Full Stack Web Developer is to participate in the design, creation and ongoing operation of Kelly Deli’s web platforms.
The developer will be expected to write clean, functional code on the front-end and back-end as well as carry out testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
The features and applications will need to be optimised for both mobile/tablet and desktop access.
Familiarity with the development frameworks and third-party libraries detailed below is essential.
The Full Stack Developer must be able to interpret business requirements and be able to clearly communicate and articulate ideas, plans and project progress with internal teams.
Creation of technical documentation for reference and audit purposes is a key part of the role.
Knowledge of the infrastructure components listed is also required

Proven experience as an Umbraco Full Stack Developer
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Mongo
DB), web servers (e.g. Apache)UI/UX design
Challenges:
Software solutions are being upgraded and replaced as part of Kelly Deli’s investment into digital strategic projects. New and old will need to be managed simultaneously.
Competing priorities, the person will need to be able to manage expectations and deal with pressurised environment.
Complex stakeholder environment, providing service for 11 countries.

Experience dealing with teams and suppliers
Enjoys overcoming challenges, solving problems and providing solutions to internal customers in a fast-paced ever-changing IT and Marketing landscape

English language proficiency is mandatory, any other European language skills are beneficial
Experience in the retail or hospitality industries would be an advantage

This role is a hybrid role - 2/3 days in the office and the others working from home.
