Senior Roof Truss Designer - Remote Mitek

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roof Truss Designer to join a well-established timber engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced designer with strong MiTek experience who is looking for a remote position working on residential housing developments across the UK.

As a Roof Truss Designer, you will be responsible for designing roof truss systems from architectural drawings and client specifications using MiEt software.

• Designing roof truss systems using Mi Tek
• Interpreting architectural and structural drawings
• Producing technical drawings and manufacturing data
• Liaising with clients and internal teams regarding design specifications
• Supporting production teams with technical queries
• Ensuring designs comply with industry regulations and NHBC standards

• Minimum 8 years' experience designing roof trusses
• Strong experience using MiTek software
• Experience with in timber engineering or roof truss design
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings
• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Salary £40,000+ depending on experience
• Fully remote role
