About AIOS
AIOS is building an AI operating system for consumer healthcare, delivering end‑to‑end care with near‑zero marginal human time.
Role SummaryLead the design function for a fast‑growing mobile app and internal tools. This fully remote, full‑time position reports to Ben, Head of Product, with oversight from Richie, CEO, and collaboration with engineering and CX leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Build a scalable design system covering brand, typography, tone, component libraries, and processes.
- Redesign the clinical dashboard from first principles, creating a tool clinicians use daily.
- Own the mobile and web experience, leading a design refresh and setting standards for future work.
- Improve internal tools for the CX team, shaping experiences based on their workflows.
- Lead the existing design team (2 designers) and grow the function, hiring as needed.
- Design obsession – razor‑sharp eye for consistency, minimalism, and UX.
- Direct design management experience, able to give feedback and raise standards.
- Cross‑platform design experience (web, mobile, internal tools).
- Zero‑to‑one experience creating product or design systems from scratch.
- Hands‑on design ability – continue to produce design deliverables.
- Full ownership of UX research, from defining approach to synthesising insights.
- Copy and content design experience, collaborating with or owning copy.
- Regulated industry experience (healthcare, finance, etc.).
- Experience designing for European and US markets.
