Job Title:
Interior Design / Project Management Intern
Job Type :
Part Time / Full Time
We are looking for a highly organised and design-sensitive Part-Time or Full-Time Interior Design / Project Management Intern to support the delivery of hospitality, residential and creative spatial projects. This role will work closely with the lead for Interior Design and Project Management, as well as our Creative Director, across concept development, project coordination, styling and execution. It is suited for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, visually strong, and excited to work in a fast-paced creative environment where design, operations and execution intersect.
WhatMakes This Role Different:
- 100% Remote-First: Work from home, a café, or anywhere that inspires you. We’re entirely results and KPI-driven, not face-time driven. Remote-first means self-discipline and clear communication are essential.
- Accelerated Growth: Staff take on significant responsibilities from day one in our hands‑on scrappy startup environment. As we aggressively expand our team, you’ll grow alongside us with clear progression paths and potential phantom equity eligibility.
- Global Conservation Mission: As stewards of Singapore's architectural heritage, we’re pioneering the boutique homes concept globally—from London townhouses to Spanish Colonial homes in Intramuros, Manila, to colonial bungalows across India.
- Support interior design development across concept, schematic and detailed design stages.
- Assist with preparation of mood boards, material palettes, furniture selections and styling references.
- Produce presentation decks, layouts and visual materials for internal reviews and client presentations.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers and consultants on project timelines and deliverables.
- Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, site coordination, procurement tracking and documentation.
- Conduct site visits and support defect tracking, installation coordination and project handovers.
- Maintain organised project files, BOQs, quotations, specifications and procurement trackers.
- Assist with research on design trends, hospitality concepts, materials and operational benchmarks.
- Support ad‑hoc operational and creative tasks across the studio.
- Design Sensibility & Visual Craft — Weight 30% The eye. Recognises good composition, materiality, proportion, and styling. Builds mood boards, material palettes, and decks that read as considered rather than assembled. Curiosity about hospitality, residential, and adaptive‑reuse work.
- Project Coordination & Organisation — Weight 25% Holds the workstream together. Tracks BOQs, quotations, procurement, schedules, and vendor deliverables without dropping threads. Comfortable managing multiple parallel projects with shifting deadlines. Files, trackers, and documentation are tidy by default.
- Attention to Detail & Site Execution — Weight 20% The white‑glove instinct applied to spatial work. Catches snags on site walks, tracks defects to closure, notices when a finish, joinery line, or installation is off‑spec. Pushes for the fix rather than rationalising “good enough.”
- Stakeholder Coordination — Weight 15% Communicates clearly with contractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and internal team. Follows up without being asked, escalates appropriately, holds external parties to timeline and spec.
- Initiative & Adaptability — Weight 10% Self‑starter mindset. Moves on ambiguous briefs, takes ownership of outcomes, switches between creative and operational work without friction. Thrives in a scrappy environment where the brief evolves.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies (Diploma/ Bachelors) in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in hospitality, residential and experiential design.
- Good design sensibility with an eye for detail, composition and styling.
- Organised and able to manage multiple moving work streams simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and execution‑oriented environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Sketch Up, AutoCAD and/or related design software preferred.
- Familiarity with project coordination, procurement or site work is a plus.
- Self‑starter with initiative and ownership mindset.
- Strong aesthetic awareness and understanding of spatial experience.
- Able to balance creativity with practicality and execution.
- Highly adaptable, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in design‑led hospitality, lifestyle and adaptive reuse projects.
- Part‑time internship.
- Flexible working arrangement with physical site/studio attendance required when needed.
- Based in Singapore.
