RolePrincipal Product Designer leading the Design workstream in project teams, overseeing quality and processes for Elsewhen’s high‑profile accounts. Responsible for setting design standards, driving innovation, and extending influence across the organisation.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight across the design team, aligning with product and engineering.
- Design and deploy AI technologies, integrating cutting‑edge tech into product workflows.
- Establish, implement and maintain high‑level design standards for clients, ensuring consistency and innovation.
- Serve as a strategic design leader, exploring market opportunities, trends and future direction.
- Enhance the customer experience by improving user testing, discovery and focus on user needs.
- Collaborate with engineering to advance the design system and data visualisation practices.
- Champion high‑quality design practices and shape design leadership internally and externally.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally as a principal product designer in a high‑profile organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing design standards, especially in data visualisation, and improving large‑scale design processes.
- Strong leadership and influence in design culture, with effective collaboration across product and engineering.
- Excellent customer focus, conducting user testing and discovery to deeply understand user needs.
- Experience with AI technologies and deploying AI in production environments.
- Deep understanding of how design drives business impact.
- Open to candidates from consultancy backgrounds or long‑term client‑side roles.
