Overview of the RoleArchitectural Technologist job in Manchester, focused on technical delivery across education and remediation projects throughout the UK. The role involves working across RIBA Stages 2 to 4 within a collaborative studio environment, supporting structured project delivery using Revit and established technical workflows.
Practice & Project InformationThis established practice has a strong reputation delivering education-led projects nationwide, supported by extensive Department for Education framework experience. The Manchester office forms part of a long-term regional growth strategy, with projects including SEND, primary, secondary and further education schemes alongside remediation and selected commercial work.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver technical drawing packages across RIBA Stages 2 to 4 using Revit on live projects
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications and coordinated drawing information
- Support education, remediation and commercial projects through structured technical delivery processes
- Coordinate project information following established quality and workflow standards
- Attend project meetings and contribute to technical coordination discussions
- Collaborate closely with architects, associates and directors across multiple project packages
- Minimum 2+ years' experience within a UK architectural practice
- Strong Revit capability gained through live project delivery experience
- Experience delivering technical and construction stage information
- Education sector or commercial project experience preferred
- Understanding of Department for Education standards and coordination processes beneficial
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative and self-sufficient approach
