the Role

We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our Product & Engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with our Product Design Lead, Engineers, and Leadership to design innovative solutions that help Vidsy grow. You won’t just be making things look good; you will be a key partner in crafting our product suite, ensuring we continue to deliver world‑class experiences and stay at the forefront of the creator economy.

What

you’ll do
  • Champion Craft
    : transform complex workflows into intuitive, user‑friendly experiences. Drive the ongoing improvement of our design processes and components to ensure all Vidsy solutions are beautiful, high‑quality, and scalable across the whole platform.
  • Solve Ambiguity
    : take charge of ambiguous problems that span the entire Vidsy platform. Master the requirements for our Creators, internal teams, and enterprise clients to define clear, end‑to‑end design solutions, ensuring everyone understands the unified path forward.
  • Pioneer AI
    : help define the future of AI in our product, collaborating with engineering or implementing solutions yourself with AI.
  • Inspire Vision
    : use clear prototypes as your primary tool to inspire innovative ideas across the organisation. Your communication must inspire bold product futures to stakeholders and foster cross‑functional momentum.
  • Execute Autonomy
    : operate with autonomy, ensuring your final design is perfectly translated into a high‑quality, shippable product.
  • Explore Tools & Approach
    : continuously evolve your toolkit to ensure efficiency and elevate our design craft as we scale.
What you’ll bring
  • 3‑6 plus years experience (or equivalent): working within Product Design / User Experience, ideally as part of a cross‑functional Team or Squad.
  • Expertise & The Tools
    : in‑depth knowledge of the best AI building tools on the market, such as Lovable and Claude Code.
  • Experience & Craft
    : must possess the taste to create simple, beautiful, and intuitive designs that consistently meet high standards.
  • Strategic Vision
    : proven ability to lead ambiguous product work and tackle high‑impact problems that require a broad, unified platform perspective.
  • AI Fluency & Rapid Innovation
    : operate with a relentless growth mindset and AI fluency, with an existing commitment to up‑skilling in this fast evolving landscape.
  • Balance of User Value & Business Impact
    : ability to balance conflicting priorities, ensuring every solution simultaneously achieves excellent user experience and core business objectives.
Who you’ll report to

You’ll report to Rhys, our Lead Product Designer. Since joining from the BBC in 2022, he’s been proving that great design runs the world. He recently flipped our process to be AI‑first, and he’s looking for someone to experiment and push boundaries alongside him. Glasgow‑born but London‑based, you’ll catch him around the office making sure design always gets the spotlight it deserves.
