A Senior Architect is required for an award‑winning, employee‑owned architectural practice with an established reputation for delivering large‑scale residential, hotel, and student accommodation developments across the UK and Ireland. Working on projects typically valued between £50 million and £150 million+, the practice partners with some of the UK’s leading developers and contractors, delivering technically complex and design‑led schemes.

SeniorArchitect Job Overview
- Lead the technical delivery of large‑scale residential, hotel, and student accommodation projects.
- Manage projects through key RIBA stages, with a strong focus on Stage 4 technical delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare and review detailed technical drawing packages using Revit.
- Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and relevant industry standards.
- Attend client, design team, and site meetings throughout project delivery.
- Support junior architects and technicians through mentoring and technical guidance.
- Contribute to business development, technical innovation, and continuous improvement across the practice.
Job Requirements
- Qualified Architect with several years’ post‑Part III experience.
- Strong technical delivery experience, particularly across RIBA Stage 4.
- Experience delivering large‑scale residential, hotel, student accommodation, or mixed‑use developments.
- Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical detailing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in improving processes and contributing to business growth.
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Principal Designer duties, sustainability, or emerging technologies would be advantageous.
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE.
