Role – Landscape Architect

Location:

Manchester, Salary: £34 – £36 K. We are looking for a Landscape Architect with strong assessment experience. The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Landscape Architects on a variety of schemes focused on Landscape Visual Impact Assessments, with a design component. Hybrid working arrangements allow 2–3 days from home and in the office.

• Work alongside Senior Landscape Architects on visual impact assessment schemes.
• Perform Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and their application.
• Conduct landscape character assessment and appraisal.
• Provide design input within assessment projects.
• Travel across the country for site visits.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 2–3 years of post‑graduate experience.
• Proven track record in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.
• Experience with landscape character assessment and appraisal.
• Creative interest in green infrastructure and environmental design.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Proficiency with CAD/GIS and graphic software.
• Understanding of procedures and guidance for visualisation preparation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• UK‑based residency (must be based in the UK).
