Staff Product Designer – Retail Point-of-Sale Design Team
Location: Montreal (HQ) preferred, open to other locations in eastern Canada. Working in-office alongside the team.
Responsibilities- Own end-to-end design for core point-of-sale experiences — from problem framing through polished, shipped product — and be accountable for their quality and outcomes.
- Make complicated flows feel simple: distill dense, high-frequency merchant workflows into clear, fast, confidence-inspiring experiences.
- Design with real-world constraints as creative fuel — partnering closely with engineering to find solutions that are both excellent and feasible in mature, at-scale systems.
- Ground decisions in evidence: drive your own research and testing with real merchants, so improvements are built on how people actually work, not assumptions.
- Think in systems: strengthen consistency across the wider point-of-sale portfolio, contributing patterns and improvements back to our shared design system.
- Multiply the team: mentor other designers, raise the bar through critique, and bring a point of view that makes the work around you better.
- Put AI to work in your craft — using modern tools to explore, prototype, and validate faster, and modelling new ways of working for the team.
- 8+ years of product design experience at product-driven tech companies, with measurable impact on shipped products.
- A portfolio that shows strong fundamentals, polished UI craft, and complex workflows made simple.
- Experience designing for mature, at-scale products — and the judgment to know when to simplify, when to modernize, and when to leave well enough alone.
- A track record of partnering with engineering to navigate technical constraints and still ship excellent work.
- Fluency with prototyping and research methods to validate decisions and shape product direction.
- Active use of AI tools in your design workflow, and curiosity about how they're changing the craft.
- Strong communication skills — able to build alignment with cross-functional, global partners.

- Health and wellness credit.
- Time off to volunteer and give back to your community.

- Computer purchase program to get your personal Mac Book.
- Enhanced parental leave.
