We are currently recruiting a Architectural Technologist to join our Colchester office.
This role is particularly suited to a technically focused Architectural Technologist with strong Revit proficiency and proven experience in the production of detailed construction information.
The role will involve working as an Architectural Technologist, leading the production and coordination of detailed technical design information using Revit across a broad range of projects. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical detailing expertise, producing accurate, coordinated, and buildable construction information from concept through to delivery on site.

The selected candidate will…
- Produce and coordinate high-quality Revit models and drawing packages to BIM standards.
- Develop robust technical detailing solutions and construction packages that demonstrate a thorough understanding of building regulations, materials, and construction methodologies.
- Review and coordinate consultant information within Revit to ensure fully integrated and clash-free project documentation.
- Act as a technical resource within the team, promoting best practice in Revit modelling, detailing, and drawing production.
- Accept instructions from clients to understand their requirements and develop their briefs.
- Produce feasibility reports for clients which fully consider statutory restrictions and client briefing from outset.
- Prepare any necessary building regulation, planning applications, Listed Building applications and monitor and deal with as necessary by liaising clients, other consultants and relevant authorities.
