Overview of the Role
A Senior Architectural Technologist is required to join a small, collaborative architectural practice in Surrey. The role will focus on developing and coordinating detailed technical information for new-build and retrofit projects, with particular responsibility for RIBA Stages 4-6. Strong construction detailing skills and practical experience resolving technical matters during live site delivery are essential.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate comprehensive RIBA Stage 4 technical information packages for new-build and retrofit projects
- Resolve complex construction details using sound technical judgement and practical knowledge of live construction sites
- Support projects through RIBA Stages 4-6, responding to construction queries and site requirements
- Liaise with clients, consultants, specialist designers, contractors and on-site trades throughout project delivery
- Apply Building Regulations and relevant technical guidance when developing compliant design solutions
- Maintain accurate technical information in accordance with established ISO 9001 quality assurance procedures
- Required Skills and Experience
- Strong technical detailing skills and experience resolving complex construction details on live sites
- Detailed knowledge of RIBA Stages 4-6 and coordinated technical package production
- Practical understanding of construction sites, contractor communication and technical issue resolution
- Working knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant education and healthcare guidance
- Professional experience using AutoCAD, Revit LT and Sketch Up
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Salary of £55,000 – £65,000, four days per week based in the office, the option to work from home on Fridays and free car parking.
