WhoAre We Looking For
As Lead Contract Administrator, you provide oversight during the construction phase, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from design intent through completion. Working collaboratively with the Project Manager and project team, you align on-site execution with studio standards, client objectives, and contractual requirements. You engage early and throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to reviews that enhance constructability, quality, and efficiency. You navigate complex project dynamics with a proactive and solution-oriented approach,maintaining clear communication between the site and studio to uphold project integrity and exceed client expectations.
What You Will Do:- Lead the project team during the contract administration phase, providing direction and guidance to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with design intent and project requirements.
- Oversee the contract administration phase, ensuring meticulous oversight of submittal reviews, RFI (Request for Information) and change management, payment certification, project closeout, and active participation in OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings and site visits.
- Conduct site visits to perform limited general reviews,mock-upreviews,deficiency walkthroughs, and occupancy reviews.
- Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and other site meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination. Lead discussions to resolve issues efficiently andin accordance with contract documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact during the contract administration phase for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish a comprehensive workplan,monitor,and manage project financials during the construction phase.
- Create a supportive and engaging environmentofferingguidance and constructive feedback to yourteam. Ensure they are well-equipped with the resources and direction needed to successfully meet project deliverables.
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degreein Architecture.
- Minimum 8 years of Architectural experience including Contract Administration.
- Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, Bluebeam.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Mustpossessa valid G Driver’s License and have a personal vehicle available for daily business usewithin Ontario and occasionally outside the province based on project needs.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, with3days in the Studio.
The expected hiring range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 annually. This hiring range falls within a broader salary band established for the role. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
