Remote BIM Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Remote BIM Specialist to join their innovative team. You will be instrumental in developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for complex construction projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency throughout the design and construction lifecycle. This fully remote role allows you to contribute your expertise from anywhere, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders across various locations, including projects based around Randburg .

You will play a key part in leveraging BIM technology to improve project outcomes.

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards and protocols for projects.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models from design through construction phases.
• Coordinate models with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines to identify clashes and resolve conflicts.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
• Assist project teams in utilizing BIM for planning, visualization, and analysis.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices.

• Proven experience as a BIM Specialist or BIM Coordinator in the construction industry.
• Expertise with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Excellent model coordination and clash detection skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
