About the Role

Our client, a reputable architectural studio specializing in high-quality residential design, is looking for a talented and creative Residential Design Architect to join their team in Port Elizabeth . You will be responsible for translating client aspirations into beautifully designed, functional, and comfortable homes. This role involves client interaction, conceptual design, detailed development, and project coordination. We seek a passionate individual with a keen eye for aesthetics, an understanding of residential construction, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

• Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for residential projects.
• Develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing conceptual designs for new homes and renovations.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing.
• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations, zoning laws, and aesthetic guidelines in Port Elizabeth.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage project timelines and client communications effectively throughout the design and construction process.

• Professional Architect registration (PrArch) with SACAP or a relevant Architectural Technologist qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential architectural design.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality design concepts and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit, along with other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
