About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer to shape the future of vehicle interfaces and digital experiences. Working entirely in a remote capacity, you will translate complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive and engaging interfaces for in-car systems, mobile apps, and related automotive digital products. Your design expertise will directly impact how users interact with vehicles, making driving safer, more enjoyable, and more connected.

• Conduct user research, create personas, and map user journeys to deeply understand user needs and pain points within the automotive context.
• Design intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for automotive infotainment systems, mobile applications, and web platforms.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and automotive engineers to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and performance data.
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital automotive products.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a significant portion focused on digital product design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI design skills, user-centered design principles, and experience with interactive prototyping.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Familiarity with automotive HMI (Human-Machine Interface) principles and in-car user experiences is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, essential for a remote team environment.
