Senior Architectural Drafter

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Architectural Drafter to join their established firm in Benoni . This role is essential for producing accurate and comprehensive construction documentation that underpins successful project delivery across the Gauteng region. You will work closely with architects and designers, translating design intent into precise technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of drafting software and a thorough understanding of construction principles, contributing to a high standard of output for a variety of projects.

• Produce detailed architectural construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using Revit .
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with project specifications and relevant building codes.
• Coordinate drawings with consultants' information (structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure integration.
• Assist architects in preparing design development and presentation drawings.
• Maintain and organize drawing files, ensuring version control and project consistency.

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit ; experience with AutoCAD is also beneficial.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for working in Benoni .
