Remote BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote BIM Coordinator to join their distributed team. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all project phases for various architectural endeavors, performed entirely from a remote location. You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing BIM standards, coordinating model development, and ensuring data integrity within a virtual collaboration environment.

• Establish, implement, and manage BIM standards , protocols, and workflows for remote project teams.
• Coordinate and manage the development of BIM models using Revit and other relevant software, ensuring model accuracy and consistency.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination using BIM tools, resolving clashes and ensuring seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP elements.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to project team members on BIM software and best practices in a remote setting.
• Perform regular quality assurance checks on BIM models and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage BIM content libraries and advocate for the adoption of new BIM technologies and workflows.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or management within an architectural or construction context.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit , Navisworks, and other common BIM authoring and coordination software.
• Strong understanding of BIM concepts, workflows, and data management principles.
• Proven experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment, utilizing collaboration tools.
