About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Architectural Technician to join their fully remote team, supporting projects managed from Paarl, Western Cape . This role focuses on providing technical support for architectural designs, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with architects and designers via digital platforms, contributing to the efficient execution of projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable working independently in a remote setting, and possesses strong technical drafting skills.

• Develop and prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using BIM software .
• Ensure all technical drawings adhere to relevant building codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with remote project teams, architects, and engineers through online channels.
• Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary design information.
• Conduct technical reviews of designs and documentation.
• Manage and organize digital project files and documentation efficiently.

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology or a similar qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technician or Draughtsperson.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials.
