About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Architectural Design Lead to steer creative direction and design excellence for their remote projects, with a focus on serving clients in the Limpopo province. In this role, you will inspire and guide design teams, ensuring the conceptual integrity and innovative quality of all architectural outputs. You will foster a culture of design exploration and rigorous execution, working collaboratively with remote teams to deliver unique and impactful architectural solutions.
This is a pivotal position for a design-forward architect looking to lead remotely and make a significant creative contribution.
- Lead the conceptual design development for a range of architectural projects, ensuring innovation and quality.
- Guide and mentor design teams, fostering a creative and collaborative remote working environment.
- Develop compelling design narratives and presentations for client engagement and approvals.
- Ensure design solutions are technically sound, contextually appropriate, and meet client objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers and consultants to integrate technical requirements with design vision.
- Champion design excellence and push the boundaries of architectural creativity.
- Professional qualification in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design, with a proven portfolio showcasing creative leadership.
- Strong conceptual design skills and a deep understanding of architectural theory and history.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe Suite).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated success in leading design teams in a remote or hybrid setting.
