About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and skilled Architectural Drafter to join their remote team supporting projects in Mossel Bay and beyond. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating architectural designs into precise technical drawings and documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy for construction purposes. You will work closely with architects and technologists, contributing to a range of residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

This position is perfect for an organised individual who thrives on precision and can effectively collaborate within a virtual setting, utilising digital tools to produce high-quality outputs.

• Produce detailed construction drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software .
• Prepare drawings for planning applications, building permits, and tender packages.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM models according to project standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure drawings are up-to-date and reflect design changes.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Archive and manage project drawing files efficiently.

• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Drafting or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter , with a strong understanding of architectural drafting conventions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of BIM software like Revit.
• Ability to interpret architectural sketches and design concepts accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
