About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly proficient Architectural BIM Specialist to join their forward-thinking and remote-first organization. This role is critical for developing, implementing, and maintaining Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and workflows across all architectural projects. You will be instrumental in enhancing design efficiency, collaboration, and data management for projects nationwide. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated BIM expert to contribute significantly to a dynamic team, leveraging advanced technology to drive innovative architectural solutions in a flexible, remote setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and best practices for architectural projects.
- Create and manage complex BIM models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and coordination.
- Provide training and technical support to architects and designers on BIM software and workflows.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective utilization of BIM for design, documentation, and construction.
- Develop and manage content libraries, templates, and families within the BIM environment.
- Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and identify opportunities for process improvement and technological advancement.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field, with a strong focus on BIM.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in architectural BIM coordination and management.
- Expert-level proficiency with BIM software, primarily Revit, and a strong understanding of Navisworks.
- Experience in developing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and managing BIM projects.
- Excellent understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and data exchange standards (e.g., IFC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
