About the Role

Our client requires a meticulous Architectural Drafter for a remote contract role to support their projects based in Randburg . This position is vital for translating architectural designs into precise technical drawings and documentation essential for construction. You will work closely with the design team, ensuring all drawings adhere to project specifications and industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused individual to contribute remotely to impactful projects within the Gauteng province, leveraging their technical drafting skills.

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.
• Create and update construction documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to refine drawings based on project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes and project specifications.
• Maintain organised digital drawing files and project archives.

• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or CAD Technician.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of architectural drafting conventions.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Sketch Up, Revit) is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
