Architectural Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and technically adept Architectural Designer to contribute to their projects based in Richards Bay . This role focuses on the design development phase, where you will translate conceptual ideas into detailed architectural plans and visualizations. You will play a key part in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of buildings, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure design integrity and client satisfaction.

• Develop architectural designs from schematic design through to detailed design development.
• Create high-quality 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Coordinate design efforts with engineering consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Research and select appropriate building materials and systems.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, budget constraints, and relevant building codes.

• Degree in Architecture or a related design field.
• 2-4 years of experience in architectural design, preferably within a firm.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, Sketch Up) and rendering tools (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion).
• Strong understanding of design principles and architectural aesthetics.
• Excellent visualization and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent settings.
