About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead key projects from their Benoni office. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that architectural designs are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage client relationships, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and navigate complex challenges inherent in large-scale developments.

• Lead and manage architectural projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the preparation and approval of all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and permits.
• Manage project risks, identifying potential issues and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to ensure quality control and adherence to design intent.

• Professional qualification in Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural project management, with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulatory processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and BIM coordination is highly desirable.
