Junior Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a bright and motivated Junior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team in Polokwane. This role is an excellent stepping stone for an early-career professional looking to develop their technical skills in a supportive setting. You will work closely with senior technologists and architects, contributing to the technical documentation and detailing of a diverse range of projects.

• Assist in the preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct site visits as required to assist in site analysis and construction supervision.
• Help prepare documentation for planning applications and building permits.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure efficient project file management.
• Support senior staff in technical problem‑solving and detailing solutions.

• A relevant diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and South African building regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
