About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead BIM Specialist to spearhead their Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives within a fully remote setting. This senior role is responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows across all projects. You will guide a team of BIM coordinators and technicians, ensuring the effective use of BIM technology for design, documentation, and construction coordination.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep expertise in BIM software and a passion for driving technological innovation in the architecture and construction industry, working entirely from a remote location.
- Develop and maintain company-wide BIM standards, templates, and protocols.
- Lead and mentor the BIM team, providing technical guidance and support.
- Oversee the implementation of BIM on diverse architectural projects, ensuring data integrity and model quality.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM into all project phases, from design to facility management.
- Conduct regular audits and quality control checks of BIM models and data.
- Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices, recommending adoption where appropriate.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in BIM management and implementation within the AEC industry.
- Mastery of Revit and other relevant BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri).
- Proven experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards and execution plans.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide remote teams.
- Excellent understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex BIM-related issues and provide effective solutions.
