About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and motivated Senior Project Architect to lead key projects within their fully remote practice. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing architectural projects from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for design leadership, client liaison, team coordination, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects, all while working exclusively remotely.
The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to foster collaboration and drive project success in a distributed team environment. - Lead architectural design teams on medium to large-scale projects, ensuring design quality and project objectives are met.
- Manage client relationships, facilitating communication and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the development of design documentation, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with all project consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical engineers, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and professional standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and team members in a remote setting.
- Professional degree in Architecture and registration as a Professional Architect with SACAP.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-registration experience in managing and delivering diverse architectural projects.
- Demonstrated success in leading project teams and managing project budgets and timelines.
- Expertise in architectural design software, including Revit , AutoCAD, and relevant visualization tools.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively in a remote work setting.
