Senior Architectural Drafter

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Drafter to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial for translating architectural designs into precise, construction-ready drawings and documentation. You will work closely with architects and project managers, ensuring that all technical details are accurate and comply with relevant standards and codes. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional technical drawing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of construction methods and materials, contributing to the seamless execution of architectural projects from anywhere, with an emphasis on quality and precision in the Nelspruit architectural sector.

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD and BIM software.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all drawings, adhering to project specifications and industry standards .
• Collaborate with architects to refine designs and incorporate technical requirements.
• Prepare drawing sets for permits, bidding, and construction phases.
• Conduct quality control checks on drawings produced by the team.
• Maintain drawing archives and ensure proper version control.

• Diploma or relevant certification in Architectural Drafting or Technology.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and considerable experience with Revit .
• Thorough understanding of architectural terminology, building codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
