Senior Architectural Technologist

Were looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist with more that 5 years''' experience and advanced Revit proficiency. The role involves producing technical drawings, coordinating with consultants, and supporting architectural projects from concept to construction.

• National Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology
• SACAP registration (or eligible)
• Strong Revit skills (mandatory)
• Knowledge of SANS standards & SA building regulations
• Experience with council submissions and technical detailing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid drivers license & own transport

Our client is seeking a promising Junior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in Soweto. This role is ideal for an individual with a foundational understanding of architectural technology and a strong desire to develop their technical skills in a professional setting. You will assist senior technologists and architects in producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. Working within a hybrid model, you will benefit from collaborative office-based work and the flexibility of remote access, contributing to a variety of exciting projects and gaining practical experience in a supportive environment.

• Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using BIM software.
• Support the development of technical specifications and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with senior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and building regulations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and document existing conditions.
• Help manage project files and drawings, ensuring they are up-to-date and organized.
• Learn and apply best practices in architectural technology and construction detailing.

• National Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of architectural design and construction principles.
• Proficiency in Revit is required;
  AutoCAD skills are beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
