Architectural Detailer

Our client is seeking a skilled Architectural Detailer to join their team in Soweto . This role is essential for translating architectural designs into precise, constructible details and drawings. You will work closely with architects and project managers to develop technical specifications that ensure the successful implementation of design concepts. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong technical aptitude and a keen eye for detail, operating within a hybrid work structure that balances office collaboration with personal flexibility.

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including construction details, shop drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Ensure that all details are accurate, compliant with building codes, and practically constructible.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve complex detailing challenges.
• Maintain and update drawing registers and project documentation.
• Review project specifications and designs to ensure all detailing requirements are met.
• Assist in coordinating detailing efforts with fabricators and contractors.

• National Diploma or relevant certification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Detailer or in a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with BIM software like Revit .
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and fabrication processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate technical drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team in Gauteng .
