Architectural Assistant

Our client is seeking a motivated and adaptable Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team in Stellenbosch . This role provides crucial support to the architectural team across various project phases, from initial concept development to construction documentation. You will work closely with architects and designers, assisting with drawing production, research, and administrative tasks, contributing to the successful delivery of innovative projects.

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, and details using CAD software.
• Conduct research on building materials, products, and design trends relevant to projects.
• Help compile and organize project documentation, specifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate with external consultants and suppliers to gather necessary information.
• Provide administrative support to the architectural team, including scheduling and correspondence.
• Participate in site visits as required to support project documentation.

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Design, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an architectural office or related environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD ; experience with Revit or other BIM software is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
